Furniture footprints are tested in the plan long before a single material is chosen — this is where clearances, circulation and sightlines get decided.
04 — MATERIALISE
Materials are selected for touch, light, durability and atmosphere.
05 — REFINE
The strongest rooms are often improved through subtraction.
Layers are added, then removed, until what's left is doing real work — nothing sits in a room by default.
